Mr Perry Teaches Year 3
Victorian Architechture

This term Key Stage 2 have been learning about how life changed for
people
living in Pershore during the Victorian times. As part of their
learning,
each class has walked around town hunting for features of Victorian
architecture. The children made use of our fantastic Digital Blue
cameras
to make videos documenting their findings. They also paid a visit to
the
Pershore Heritage Centre, where they got to ask lots of intriguing
questions concerning life in Victorian Pershore. The children all
really
enjoyed the walks and have gained so much from this invaluable learning
experience. We would all really like to thank all of the parents who
leant
a hand to make the walks possible and also the friendly staff at the
Pershore Heritage Centre for providing us with their expert knowledge.

The Victorians

Artist of the Month

We always have an artist of the month, a musician of the month and a
puzzle of the month. Sometimes we do work related to these and some
times we don't! We also have a book of the week, and a saying of the
week which are often topical or chosen by the children.
Traditional Tales

We did some work on traditional tales
especially looking at the characters in them.
Money Containers

Our Design Technology topic was to design a money container, we had
some very imaginative ones!
